About Us
Meet Nicole
Hi, I’m Nicole! I’m a children and family counsellor based in Cooroy with a background in psychology and counselling, and I’m currently working towards my Master’s in Clinical Psychology. As a mum of two, I get how parenting can be both joyful and challenging—it’s what inspired me to create a space where families can feel safe, supported, and connected.
At Cooroy Therapy, I combine evidence-based practices with creative approaches like play therapy and mindful movement. My goal is to help kids explore their emotions, give parents practical tools to strengthen family bonds so everyone can thrive.
Our Approach
We believe that emotional well-being starts with the brain. Our therapy approach is rooted in neuroscience, child development, and attachment, helping children and teens regulate emotions, build resilience, and develop healthy coping skills for life.
We understand that children don’t always have the words to express their feelings. That’s why we use a whole-brain approach, engaging both the right brain (emotional, creative, sensory-based) and the left brain (logical, problem-solving, verbal processing) to create lasting change.
